I started ZIPIT in Brisbane because mouth tape didn't need to look like it came from a hospital. It's a strip, a little yellow pouch and a bit of a laugh. That's me in the clip, peeling the lot off in the morning. Full kit: mask, nose strip, mouth tape.

What does mouth tape actually do?
It's a soft strip that gently keeps naturally closed lips together while you sleep. That's it. It's for adults who can already breathe easily through their nose. It isn't a treatment for snoring, sleep apnoea or any medical condition.
Does it hurt coming off?
Peel it slowly in the morning, from one corner. Don't actually rip it. If your skin's irritated, stop using it.
Will it work with a beard or a mo?
The strip goes on your lips, not your whiskers. Keep the lip line clear and press it down well. Hold varies with facial hair, skin and skincare, so we can't promise the same for everyone.
How many strips are in a pouch?
30 single-use strips, so one a night for 30 nights. Nose strips and the sleep mask are sold separately.

Is it a subscription?

Who shouldn't use it?
Kids, anyone who can't breathe comfortably through their nose, anyone congested or nauseated, after alcohol or sedatives, or on broken or irritated skin. If you snore persistently or think you might have sleep apnoea, talk to a health professional first.
